Fundraising Banquet
CPO is a non-profit organization that relies on financial contributions. Our primary fundraising source has become our annual gala fundraising banquet.
In 2007, our 3rd Annual Fundraising Banquet was held at the Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. LeAnn Taylor of Six in The Morning on channel 6 did an outstanding job as the Celebrity MC. The exciting Live Auction was facilitated by Jay Litchfield, Tulsa's Charity Auctioneer.

Birth Mother's Day
The first Birth Mother's Day was celebrated on the Saturday before Mother's Day, 1990.
This day was chosen because Birth Mothers were mothers first, making it possible for the motherhood of Adoptive Mothers, Birth Mother's Day was created by a group of Seattle area Birth Mothers whose desire was to heal, to educate, to honor, and to remember.
At CPO, Birth Mother's Day is also a day of acknowledging our heroes: the strong and courageous women who chose the needs of their children before their own.
Our Birth Mother's Day celebrations include a sharing of stories, poems, and songs. Candles are lit and a prayer is said.
A family picnic follows with games and activities for children of all ages.
