We help birth moms and their babies. Maybe you can, too.
CPO was created to provide compassionate, meaningful support to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. As part of this mission, we help mothers parent their newborn babies, or place them with loving adoptive families.
It is important to understand that we believe in providing families for babies, not babies for families. We respect and honor the courageous women who are willing to live separately from their children so the baby can have certain benefits — like a stable, two-parent home — that they are not in a position to provide.
All adoptions through CPO are Open Adoptions and include full disclosure of identifying information between the birth parent(s) and the adoptive parents, as well as an ongoing relationship between the two. The birth mom can choose how open she would like the relationship to be, which can include visits, phone calls, letters, pictures, social media connections, and email. As a pioneer of Open Adoption in Oklahoma, we’ve seen this approach benefit not only the child, but the birth parents and the adoptive family as well. In fact, many of our adoptive families and birth moms have developed strong relationships that continue through the child’s teen years and later.
